That confidence and flexibility define Chan. She has taught herself ever since she started taking photos when she was a student at Fontbonne Academy. She was just a college sophomore when her shots of Boston fashion shows landed her first job shooting a local Playboy Golf Scramble, where men play golf as beautiful women accompany them on the course. The golf winners choose their favorite women, who become the subjects of Chan’s photo shoot.
Eventually, she went on to shoot the semifinals in Las Vegas and the finals at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills. About a dozen of her photos from this year’s Playboy Golf Scramble and accompanying Pajama and Lingerie Party ran in the July issue of Playboy. One of her photos was of Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker with Ashley Dupre, former New York District Attorney Eliot Spitzer’s call girl.
