Last week Watertown police charged a Boston woman with prostitution following an undercover investigation.
Police had become aware of a particular posting on craigslist in the massage section of the Web site.
The posting included the phrase “Chinese girl serving Watertown,” police said. There was also a phone number in the ad.
Watertown police called the number, and scheduled an appointment with the woman at an apartment at 17 Carey Ave.
On June 22 around 3 p.m. one of the department’s detectives went to that location.
Very shortly after entering the residence, the woman offered him sexual acts.
