Elisabeth Hasselbeck has long been a target in Kathy Griffin’s celebrity-skewing stand-up comedy — but on Monday’s broadcast of The View, the outspoken cohost finally got in a jab of her own. Hasselbeck took issue with the episode of Bravo’s My Life on the D-List on which Griffin jokingly referred to U.S. Senator Scott Brown’s daughters as “prostitutes.” Watch the controversial clip below:
“I know his daughters, and they’re not prostitutes,” the Republican host responded angrily. “We’ve always said politicians’ kids are off-limits. If someone went around calling Barack Obama’s two girls prostitutes, people would be up in arms.”
Cohost Joy Behar pointed out that Griffin was making a reference to Brown’s victory speech, during which he said his daughters were “both available” if anyone was interested:
