** Who doesn’t need to laugh these days? “Comedy You Can Believe In” with David Alan Grier premieres at 10 p.m. on TBS and features the stand-up routines of Mark Curry, Aries Spears and Jo Koy.

** Twelve overweight contestants are matched with professional dancers in “Dance Your Ass Off,” premiering at 10 p.m. on Oxygen. Marissa Jaret Winokur, a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” hosts as the contestants dance to lose weight and win $100,000.
