Strippers might be part of the town’s future, but there will not be any scantily clad women dancing on a stage at the former Tin Alley Grill.
“It’s out of the question,” John Kilgallen, who manages the property at 1699 Worcester Road, said yesterday.
Kilgallen said he had been in talks to lease the vacant building to Groton plumber Joe Ferguson, but was shocked by the news Ferguson filed plans with the town to turn the place into a high-end strip club called “Bright Side.”
“As soon as I saw it in the paper I just went ‘Oh my God,”‘ Kilgallen said.
Having lost his proposed site, Ferguson yesterday withdrew his application for a variance from the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Kilgallen yesterday said he and owner Westchester Associates “don’t want to be associated” with a strip club.
