The Stoughton police officer who was forced to resign following his trip to a local strip club to see a diminutive porn star certainly couldn’t have welcomed all the ensuing publicity. But all the coverage of the story in the past week was good news for the business, Club Alex’s in Stoughton.
A manager who answered the phone at Alex’s and said his name was David told me he expects all the attention that Bridget “The Midget” Powers’ visit to Alex’s has generated for the club will help sell tickets for the 3’ 9” porn star’s return visit to the club for three days at the end of August.
Apparently, Powers drew sell-out crowds during her recent three-night appearance, when the Stoughton cop visited Alex’s in uniform while on duty. Tickets sold for $15 apiece, according to the club manager, who didn’t want to give me his last name.
