A decorated Stoughton police officer’s career is over after he lied about modifying his service weapon and left his patrol to meet “the world’s smallest porn star” during her appearance at a local strip club, according to the police chief.
Officer Richard P. Bennett resigned after lying about the laser sight installed on his service weapon, and after leaving his beat to see adult film star Bridget “The Midget” Powers during her guest stint at Club Alex’s Gentlemen’s Club, 584 Washington St., police chief Paul Shastany said.
Powers, who has dwarfism, stands 3 feet 9 inches tall and has made more than 40 adult films, according to her entry on the user-edited Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia. Alex’s is promoting Powers’ return appearance on its website by calling her “the world’s smallest porn star.”
