Boston Strip Clubs: Strippers, ‘rub girls’ settle suit with Stoughton’s Club Alex’s

Dancers and massage workers at Club Alex’s won a cash settlement after filing a lawsuit claiming they were deprived of wages and benefits at the strip club in Stoughton.

In the lawsuit, filed in May and settled last month, the plaintiffs argue the club classified them as independent contractors but treated them as employees by scheduling their shifts, controlling their wardrobe and mandating their performance music. A lawyer for the plaintiffs said a non-disclosure clause in the settlement agreement prohibits him from discussing it.
