8:03 pm, 1000 block of San Vicente. While at a hotel restaurant, a woman took off her two rings in the restroom while washing her hands and inadvertently left them on the counter. She later discovered an unknown thief had stolen the rings. The victim estimated the loss at about $37,000.

5:30 pm, 1100 block of Clark. During the day, an unknown thief stole a girls red three speed bicycle from an apartment building subgarage.
June 24
9:51 pm, 1200 block of La Brea. A male Hispanic suspect broke into a market supply room and stole six cases of commercial wax and stripper valued at about $240. Damage to a door area and alarm system was estimated at about $500.
