Elisabeth Hasselbeck calls Kathy Griffin ‘Scum’ after Prostitute Joke
Yesterday, Elizabeth Hasselbeck referred to Kathy Griffin as straight-up “scrum” on The View. Griffin had jokingly referred to Scott Brown’s daughters as “prostitutes” on her Bravo TV show. (His daughters are 19 and 20 years old.)
“Just to call a woman a prostitute as a joke is disrespectful,” Hasselbeck said. Whoopi Goldberg backed her up, “Listen, if somebody talked about my daughter as a joke like that, I would beat their ass. So you can’t be surprised that Scott Brown took offense to it.”

Following up their icy exchange from last month, “The View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck has thrown another jab Kathy Griffin’s way, calling her “scum” when she was brought up on the July 19 show.
On Griffin’s “My Life on the D-List,” she makes an unfortunate joke that Senator Scott Brown’s two daughters are prostitutes. Hasselbeck and Whoopi Goldberg agreed that the joke was in poor taste.
“If someone went around calling Barack Obama’s two girls prostitutes, people would be up in arms… You defend your daughters against scum who come after them,” Hasselbeck says, prompting Goldberg to say, “If somebody talked about my daughter
as a joke like that, I would beat their ass.”
Whoops?
Joy Behar didn’t see the point in getting heated up about it. “I know my daughter’s not a prostitute, so it’d be funny,” she said. “It’s just a joke, Elisabeth.

NEW YORK, NY – Kathy Griffin did an excellent job of putting her foot in her mouth!
Kathy Griffin is the star of her own reality TV show, “My Life on the D-List” which airs on Bravo. During an episode last week, Griffin joked that Republican Senator Scott Brown “has two daughters that are prostitutes.” That’s one giant tub of hot water that Griffin wishes she never jumped into and now the backlash has commenced.
Her comments have received huge criticism and she just may be upgraded to the “A-List” with all the attention she’s getting from them.
CNN reporter Dana Bash burst out into laughter at Griffin’s comment during their interview, which refers to Brown’s statements during his Senate victory speech in Massachusetts earlier this year that his daughters were “available.”

Brookine police are hunting for two men who investigators said collected money for drugs by forcing a woman to have sex with as many as 10 men in a single day in late June.   
Lawrence Bloom, 53, of 90 Longwood Ave., Brookline, faces charges of rape, conspiracy to commit the crime of deriving support from the earnings of a prostitute, and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, police said.
Police said a Chelsea man faces charges of conspiracy to commit the crime of deriving support from the earnings of a prostitute, and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, police said. The second suspect’s name is unclear at this time, based on police records currently available.

The professional snotty bore and antinomian terror Kathy Griffin, who bills herself as a comedian, called a U.S. Senator’s two daughters prostitutes last week. Clearly her dislike for Republican Senator Scott Brown’s politics is behind Griffin’s gust of revolting flatulence, but I strongly believe that it’s time that we stop dismissing such vileness and pretending that it doesn’t matter, that we’re all unaffected by such swinish public behavior.
