… NECN: Jim Braude) – The tragic death of Julissa Brisman has pitted the CEO of Craigslist against powerful law enforcers. Brisman advertised “erotic massage” services on Craigslist.
Boston University student Philip Markoff responded. The rendezvous with Brisman at a Boston hotel ended with Brisman being murdered. Markoff committed suicide while awaiting trial last week.
Shortly after, Attorney General Martha Coakley turned up the heat on Craigslist to prevent future “Julissa Brisman’s” from being victimized.

Boston Massage Parlors: ‘Craigslist’ killer leaves behind message in blood.

… Craigslist” killer Philip Markoff left behind a message in blood when he killed himself on August 15th in his Boston jail cell.
Markoff, who had been held since last year on suspicion of murdering New York City masseuse Julissa Brisman, wrote his former fiance’s name in blood on the wall of his cell before dying of self-inflicted wounds.
Markoff, a former medical student originally from upstate New York, was once engaged to fellow medical student Megan McAllister. The engagement ended after Markoff’s arrest in 2009. The wedding had been scheduled for August 14, 2009.
Markoff was dubbed the Craigslist killer by the media, because he used the website to target women who advertised under the Erotic Services section of the site. He had contacted Brisman regarding an ad for an erotic massage. Brisman then traveled to the Boston area to meet Markoff, who apparently shot her in a Boston hotel.

Boston Massage Parlors: Accused killer found dead in jail.

The accused ‘Craigslist’ killer has been found dead in his Boston jail cell, apparently having committed suicide.
Philip Markoff, 24, a former medical student, had been jailed in Massachusetts for the last year. He was accused of murdering New York City masseuse Julissa Brisman, who he had hired for an erotic massage. Markoff hired Brisman after seeing an ad on Craigslist offering erotic massages.
Markoff was also accused of robbing a Las Vegas woman. The two crimes both occurred in the Boston area, within days of each other, back in April 2009.
Markoff had previously been on suicide watch while he was being held in jail.

Boston Massage Parlors: Unlicensed Somerville massage parlor shut down for prostitution

Local and state authorities busted an unlicensed massage parlor in Somerville’s Davis Square last Wednesday, after an undercover investigation revealed two Asian women were offering sexual services to men who went in for massages, according to a police report.
The business has been shut down, city officials said.
“There were no prior violations,” city spokesman Michael Meehan said. “The department got a tip about unwanted activity there and conducted an investigation that confirmed that the tip was accurate.”

After a search, Michael Hawley from the Board of Registration of Massage Therapy found there was no license issued for any massage establishment at 258 Elm St. Both suspects were placed under arrest for their respective roles in the illegal massage parlor operation. They were charged with peddling violation and sexual conduct for a fee, according to the report.

You have forms of domestic sex trafficking, violent US citizen pimps who are using extreme forms of control over adult women and children.”

The 55-year-old Israeli has been associated with Portsmouth ever since he came to England in 2006 to be the club’s technical director.
The following year he moved to Chelsea as director of football, soon taking over as manager after Roman Abramovich’s fallout with Jose Mourinho. Despite taking Chelsea to the Champions League final, Grant was dumped by the Russian after one season.
He returned to Portsmouth in October 2009 as director of football and, in a replay of what happened at Chelsea, he quickly he took the manager’s role from Paul Hart. The club were bottom of the Premier League having won only seven points from 13 games.
Under Grant, Portsmouth began to find some form. They won 10, lost 16 and drew seven of the 33 matches played with Grant as manager. He even managed to ride the storm when a tabloid caught him visiting a Thai massage parlour.

The only thing more annoying than Westwood about today’s final is Didier Drogba, whose record for hitting the net is bettered only by his record for hitting the deck. He would regain the sympathy of the neutral only by hitting the Westwood.
Drogba is just 13-8 with Stan James to need treatment from the Chelsea physio at least twice during the 90 minutes.

You can get 6-4 for zero treatment. No chance. Last Saturday I bumped into the telly while hoovering and Drogba tumbled over in agony. Chelsea weren’t even playing.
Some Pompey players are saying that their appearance in today’s final underlines the romance of the Cup.
But boss Avram Grant said if they want romance they should go straight to a massage parlour and pay for it like any normal bloke.

On the face of it Chelsea only need to turn up at Wembley to win, don’t they? Fresh from winning the league, Ancelotti’s men have finished with something of a flourish. They’ve scored seven goals on three occasions this season and rounded off the campaign by putting eight past Wigan last Sunday, although the first goal looked offside to me. History could have been oh so different if that goal was disallowed. Chelsea have already done the double over Pompey this season en route to becoming the first team to surpass scoring 100 goals in the Premier League. Pomepy, er, finished bottom.
When he was with Chelsea, Avram Grant finished second in the Premier League and runner-up in the Champions League but was deemed a failure. This season Pompey have had four owners, late wages, a transfer ban, administration, a nine-point deduction and relegation and he’s hailed as a hero.
Everybody is now pleading with Avram to stay, the players, the chairman, the administrators and the local massage parlour owners.
