… 300 lap dance at Boston strip club may result in sanctions
By Globe Staff
The Boston Licensing Board could decide Thursday whether to sanction a downtown Boston strip club after a police officer discovered a dancer giving a patron a lap dance in violation of a city ordinance banning physical contact between dancers and the public in nightspots.
According to a Boston police report, Detective William Gallagher was making a routine inspection of the Glass Slipper nightspot on 22 LaGrange St. at around 1 a.m. on Oct 27. While being escorted by the manager, Gallagher went to the third floor.
There, detectives âœobserved a male patron lying back on the couch with a female dancer straddling his lap,ââ the report states. âœThe male patron had both his hands wrapped around the dancer touching her buttocks.ââ

Boston Strip Clubs: A Threat to Boston’s Strip Clubs

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

A Threat to Boston’s Strip Clubs If Centerfolds and the Glass Slipper close their doors, is it a happy ending?

It’s hard to believe that this is the same industry that many wish to ban. This very week, the city is wondering whether construction of a tower block in Boston’s Combat Zone might threaten the area’s remaining strip clubs. However, if Centerfolds and the Glass Slipper don’t survive, many will celebrate because they view the sex industry as abusive and destructive. But people are abused in a whole host of professions. It is true that sex work is often illegal, which makes it harder for those who are mistreated to ask for society’s help. But because we’ve been taught that sex is degrading, our society can be quick to assume sex worker abuse â and that attitude, in itself, can actually cause abuse, especially when there is zero proof.

Boston Strip Clubs: Rob Gronkowski: The Legend of New England Patriots Gronk Man Grows

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

Rob Gronkowski was raised much like a wolf, amongst a pack of savage Gronkowski brothers desperately wrestling for their own survival.
As the second youngest of the Gronkowski clan, Rob had to fight an uphill battle against his older brothers if he wanted to eat. But since he emerged from the Gronkowski cave into the spotlight of the NFL, Gronkowski has done nothing but feast—on opposing defenses, on strippers and on games of Twister.
God damn, it makes for some good television.
On Sunday, Gronkowski quietly set the record for the most touchdowns in a season by a tight end, 14, despite having the record for most receiving touchdowns by a tight end revoked when a Tom Brady pass was later called a lateral.
Regardless, Gronkowski set the total touchdown record for a tight end, and remains tied with Vernon Davis and Antonio Gates (not bad company) for the reception record. That’s all well and good, until you realize that the NFL season is only 75 percent complete. Even if Gronkowski’s torrid pace slows, he’s set up to shatter records.

Boston Strip Clubs: Federal Appeals Court upholds Rumeal Robinson conviction

Monday, December 5th, 2011

Trial evidence established that Robinson paid a $100,000 kickback to a Community State Bank loan officer in exchange for receiving a large loan. Robinson also submitted a fake tax return to the bank in an attempt to qualify for loans; recruited straw borrowers to take out loans that were actually intended for him; used “business” loan proceeds to fund his lavish personal lifestyle; and used his mother’s home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in three sham transactions to generate money for himself. In total, more than $1.3 million in loans were made from Community State Bank to Robinson or for his benefit. Robinson never made any repayments on these loans and spent a large portion of the money on cars, motorcycles, strip clubs, clothes, a condominium, and other personal expenses. Robinson’s conduct caused a substantial loss to Community State Bank, forced two people to file for bankruptcy, and resulted in his mother losing the home where she had lived for more than 30 years.

Boston Strip Clubs: Art Basel Miami: The Time Salem Soundtracked a Stripper Make-Out Session at …

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

The crowd stuck close to the VIP cabanas, drinking copious amounts of scotch and sake, generously provided by 21 Grams. As the show began just after 11pm, two strippers in black mesh and thongs, who had been milling about in the VIP section, got into the water. Fog poured over the pool, rising into the night, obscuring the band and the girls. Salem’s Jack Donoghue, wearing a red, fitted hat with an all-white beach ensemble, rapped slowly over his band’s drone. By the time keyboardist Heather Marlatt took the mic, the strippers were wearing nothing but leather thongs and silicone.
At the height of Salem’s set, we’re pretty sure the strippers started having sex with each other. That’s how hot this event was. The Hole and Salem are doing another event tonight, the premiere of street artist Neckface’s film, Born Under a Bad Sign, at the Gusman Theater. There’s no doubt it will be great, but last night will be tough to top.

Boston Strip Clubs: Wilmington on DVDs. The Rest: Friends With Benefits; 30 Minutes or Less; One Day

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

On the higher-rent and dopey side of town, Fred Ward is the Major, a surly macho Marine who won a lottery, and now lives in sort-of-luxury (at least for Grand Rapids), while hurling contempt on his son Dwayne (McBride), an ill-tempered macho jerk and egotistical ding-a-ling whom the Major employs as his pool cleaner, along with Dwayne‘s even dumber (but halfway human) hanger-on/buddy Travis (Swardson).
Dwayne, incensed at his father’s endless stream of vicious insults, is impatient for his inheritance, and consumed by a grand fantasy of using what’s left of the lottery money to open up a combination tanning salon and whorehouse. One night, brooding, Dwayme runs into a mean little stripper named Juicy (Bianc Kajlich), who suggests that he knock off Pops with the help of a hit man she knows named Chango (Michael Pena, very good), and then enjoy her lap dances, just for him, forever. (Chango of course, unbeknownst to Dwayne, is Juicy‘s main squeeze.) The killer’s fee; $100, 000.

Tammy “Sunny” Sytch Trashes Ashley Massaro On Facebook, Ashley Responds
Written on November 22nd, 2011 by Jim Adler
Tammy “Sunny” Sytch trashed Ashley Massaro on Facebook after she failed to introduce herself to the WWE Hall of Famer this past weekend at a collectible memorabilia and media star show in Boston, Massachusetts.
“Ashley Massaro can kiss my hof ass…not once did she introduce herself to me,” she wrote. “Not once and she dressed like a stripper.”
The 2005 Diva Search winner was made aware of her inflammatory remarks and fired back on Twitter. Massaro explained that she did not introduce herself to Sytch due to previous insults.
She writes, “Just a few words I’d like to share. This may be a bit long so bare with me. When I arrived at WWE I ALWAYS greeted every single talent there with the utmost respect and made it a point to shake hands and greet everyone my entire tenure. NOW when some pigle …

Boston Strip Clubs: New England Patriots: Breaking Down What Happened on Rob Gronkowski’s Touchdowns

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

It’s been beaten to death, but what sets Gronkowski apart is his rare combination of size and speed. He’s too big to be covered by a defensive back, and too fast to be covered by a linebacker.
The tight end’s big 6′6″, 266-pound frame is ideal for winning one-on-one matchups. That size and wing span also make him a favorite target for Brady because when Brady makes the throw, Gronk usually makes the catch and has the reach to get to balls that defenders can’t.
It’s especially true near the end zone. Not only has Gronkowski raked in 18 touchdowns in 25 games, but he has also tallied five multiple-touchdown games in his career. That puts him seventh all-time in that category, and first all-time among tight ends.
Let’s take a look at the two touchdowns he scored against the Jets as examples of why Brady loves Gronkowski more than any stripper ever could.

Boston Strip Clubs: New residential tower breaks ground in Boston

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

The residences are slated to be a mix of condominiums and apartments and will include one- two- and three-bedroom units. Hayward Place is the second large residential project to break ground in the neighborhood recently, with The Kensington project just down the street slated to add 381 units.
“New economic growth is really taking hold,” Boston Mayor Thomas M. Meninocq said during an event to celebrate the formal start of construction today. “In the last quarter, we had 1,000 new housing units break ground. The last time was saw that was in 2006” at the height of the real estate market.
Hayward Place, designed by Handel Architectscq of New York, will complete Millennium Partners’ revitalization of a section of Washington Street known as the Combat Zone for the collection of seedy strip clubs and bars that once dominated the area. In 2001 and 2002, Millennium completed the Ritz Carlton Hotel & Towers project that helped spur other development in the area.
